Honestly, there was little else going through my mind when I walked into this piece of calm at the end of a busy week. What a treat.
Aptly named Mellow Nello, chilling is inevitable as you wander down the garden path, listening to the rustling of the wind through the trees.
The coffee is very, very well made, using Humble's delicious house blend and served in very pretty bespoke ceramic cups. There is a small selection of freshly prepared eats and nibbles, from date balls to savoury tarts and carrot cakes.
The cafe is adjacent a nursery and a thai-style yoga studio. Which pretty much sums up the kind of vibe - at one with nature and oneself! Besides the incredible coffee and staff who make it, looking out from the shade of the cafe over the garden towards the indigenous bush, the sound of birdsong and chilled tunes in the air, it is a very pleasant experience to drink coffee and commune with nature at Mellow Nellow.
