If you're planning to come to Fourways Mall this weekend for the Specialty Coffee Expo, don't forget to Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC)!
BYOC is an environmental campaign initiated by Breathe Conservation, Lizzard and Coffee Magazine, to encourage coffee drinkers to BYOC every time you leave the house, in case you need to grab a take-away coffee or in this case, deliberately go out for a coffee - without creating excess waste and adding unnecessarily to landfill waste.
Fourways Mall - a lot of coffee vendors, a lot of single-use cups, unless you BYOC!!
We are at the SCASA National Coffee Competitions, happening just one level up from the Expo, at Fourways Mall.
Many of the vendors, like Yellow Jacket here, are also selling flasks and re-usable cups so if you can, either BYOC, or buy yourself a new one! The cups in the picture are a necessity, but not first prize! Their coffee is amazing btw. Try the Colombian pink bourbon as a pour over - YUM!
