Salvation Cafe is tucked away inside the very beautifully curated Nine Yards precinct just off Jan Smuts Ave in Rosebank. There is a lot to experience at Nine Yards and it's worth exploring for a morning, to enjoy a meal, a coffee and to take back some goodies for home!
It was a bitterly cold winters morning when we visited and there wasn't much foot traffic in Nine Yards, but we found the warmth, dare I say salvation, inside this cosy, convivial little cafe. The staff were very quick to seat and serve us, the coffee and food came out quickly and the vibe was really cozy, especially around the roaring log fire!
We enjoyed a shakshuka (so yum!) with extra toast and two very well prepared cortados (order the flat white or cuppuccinno if you don't usually drink medium-medium dark roasts) however it was very pleasant and greatly enjoyed in a very cute and comforting setting.

Salvation Cafe at Nine Yards - well worth a visit for coffee and brekkie!

There's a cool retail section, a roaring fire and hearty fare to warm the cockles on a cold winters day!

The coffee is well prepared, well served and although quite a developed full city roast, very pleasant with a bit of steamed milk, like our cortado here!
