The Vision for SCASA
SCASA’s vision is to continue building a professional, inclusive, and globally respected organisation that advances coffee excellence, develops future talent, and strengthens the industry at every level.
Moving forward, SCASA aims to grow beyond competitions alone by creating meaningful opportunities for education, collaboration, transformation, and long-term industry sustainability. This work has already been started by the current board – and looking forward, we hope that these projects will only continue to be expanded and built upon by the incoming board structure.
Through strong governance, world-class competition standards, strategic partnerships, and community-driven development, SCASA seeks to position South Africa as a respected and influential voice within the global specialty coffee industry.
