A new dawn for specialty coffee: Introducing Treat Anywhere! 

TREAT Coffee Roasters officially launched a first-of-its-kind in South Africa yesterday  - the "TREAT Anywhere" - a single serve portion of specialty coffee in these very cute, very convenient little cups! So cool!!!! 

We love a good sunrise and coffee combo to kickstart the day off, and we love a good mini too!  This was so simple and so fun to make. Literally just take hot water with you, and add the TREAT Anywhere to your hot water for a delicious cup of specialty coffee in a matter of seconds. 

So simple, so quick, so convenient!

So what's in it?  Well it depends on what you like! 

TREAT have 5 different options on their website available as launch options: 

BLACK 

100% Arabica beans as used in the TREAT Cafe blend. Smooth and full-bodied with none of the bitterness of ordinary instant. Made to be enjoyed black. Tastes like milk chocolate and nuts!

WHITE

100% Arabica beans — a smooth Colombia & Brazil blend scoring 82+ on the SCA scale. The result is a rich, café-quality cup made especially for milk-based drinks: lattes, flat whites and cappuccinos, without the machine or the mess.

DECAF

Decaf done properly. We start with La Meseta Excelso from Colombia, decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process — caffeine removed with nothing but water, zero chemicals. No shortcuts. No compromise on flavour. Full-bodied, smooth and balanced — everything you want from a great coffee, made for milk-based drinks like lattes, flat whites and cappuccinos, without the caffeine.

  • Swiss Water Process — decaffeinated with water, no chemicals

EL SALVADOR

Grown in the volcanic highlands of Apaneca-Ilamatepec — one of Central America's most celebrated regions — at 1,350 metres, sun-dried using the natural process and scored SCA 85+. Then captured at its peak with our specialty freeze-drying process, ready in seconds.

Expect an explosion of pomegranate and passionfruit on the nose, a brown-sugar sweetness that carries through the cup, and a smooth, lingering chocolate aftertaste that keeps you coming back. Medium roast, full fruit character, low acidity — complex without being difficult.
