Recently, we received a lovely surprise at Coffee Magazine HQ - a special delivery from ButtaNutt!
Our team had a field day testing out the many fun flavours and different variations!
ButtaNutt is a local company, based in Paarl, with a really cool story stretching back all the way to 2012! ButtaNutt produces nut butters and alternative milks as well as a few other really cool related products. It sources locally grown nuts whenever possible, like almonds from the Klein Karoo, macadamias from Mpumalanga and peanuts from the North-West.
Barista Jenny loved the creaminess of the Oat, while Brian leaned more towards the Almond. For their first time working with the products, they were very impressed with how well it steamed, stretched and held its shape.
The Coffee Mag team were immediately excited to try the oat and mac options! Brian blasts some steam through the jug to stretch and microtexture the liquid into a soft, creamy, beautifully aerated elixir. Really good quality foam!
Service please! - One Almond latte for table 3 and a luxurious Oat latte for a chilly winter morning! Thanks Jen!
