It is difficult to believe, but in all our years of drinking Sorcery Coffee, we've never had a cup of coffee at an actual Sorcery cafe!
Well, we promised them we would change that and we keep our promises!!!
What a treat to experience it for the first time with Inam Manyala, a relatively new addition to the Sorcery Coffee team, who had nothing but glowing things to say about his experience with the team and the ethos of education. And he made us some damn fine coffees!
The coffee was a Colombia Ethiopian Landrace which we were lucky enough to experience 3 ways: espresso, flat white and a pourover. Ok, but let's just unpack that coffee a little bit more. It's grown in Ethiopia, but the varietal is an Ethiopian Landrace. It's produced by one of the rock stars of coffee producing, Rodrigo Sanchez. AND it's a 45hr Anaerobically processed. All that is to say, the flavour is pretty insane.
Every detail of this charming house is thoughtfully curated, with lots of beautiful nooks and crannies to enjoy your coffee and catch up with friends or on some work.
We wish this new location the best as it builds up its locals, go meet Inam! We look forward to visiting The Ruins soon!
