Now as the evenings grow ever more chilly, there are few things I can think of that are as comforting as a good mug of hot chocolate.
How did you make it when you were growing up? I went through a big Milo phase where I would heat my milk in the microwave then add the powder and heat it a bit more so that I would get a rich, almost crispy chocolate layer on top to nibble before stirring in to combine. Anyone else? No just me? Well, I'm sure we all have our vices...
Now that I'm old(er) and almost fully grey (very unfair), my vice has become much more sophisticated. In the cold winter months, I love a good mocha from my local caffeine dealers. But, my youthful sweet tooth has almost entirely disappeared, so I'm looking for the rich, chocolate goodness that only comes from high quality ingredients.
My new obsession is the Gourmet Cafe Style Hot Choc from Red Espresso. It is SO GOOD on its own and it fulfills all my Mocha dreams when you add a sneaky shot of espresso in there!
The team from Red Espresso have been working closely with baristas to craft a hot chocolate that delivers on delicious decadent quality chocolate flavours. Crafted with the finest ingredients, to give you the taste sensations you love.
Gourmet Hot Chocolate is available in 3 unique flavours, Original Café Choc, Salted Caramel, and Hazelnut Mocha.
Here are the fun facts:
And, if at home you naughtily put it in the microwave with your milk, you still get those delicious melty bits, just saying!
