We are very happy to announce that after closing during the extreme conditions of COVID, Sibongile Rakgatjane of Mo's Bakery has re-opened her cafe space.
Momo, as she is affectionately known, has continued baking up a storm of beautiful cakes, but is now back to serving her community from a new location: 41 Nkwane Street, Mamelodi West, Pretoria.
This is one talented and determined woman and we are so in awe of her. Building coffee culture on cup at a time. They're offering a full food menu and of course, her legendary cakes. In Sibongile's words, "Coffee smells like hope!" and her enthusiasm and intentionality about everything she does, certainly gives us hope for the future of coffee in South Africa.
