So when I walked in to
Hard Pressed Cafe for our business meeting, I instantly wished I had arrived a few minutes earlier so I could have taken the time to explore and take it all in, because for the first 10 minutes of my meeting I was completely useless, I was distracted and struggled to focus. Coffee and music, it's a fabulous combination. Time and time again it is proven to me that 'vibe' can make or break an establishment. And this place has vibe. It's just a fun place to hang out. And the coffee was tasty and comforting on a blustery winters day. The coffee is roasted by TriBeCa, they've worked on their own special blend of rock n roll coffee.
I had a delicious toasted bagel with scrambled egg and salmon, laced with their chilli sauce which is sublime (it's called Mykonos Chilli Sauce, made locally by the Mykonos Taverna in Sea Point).
