It started a little while ago, around the time my dad started roasting coffee beans. I have to say I'm blissfully happy that it began, and it's obviously here to stay, because I sure haven't been able to shake it.
It's the desire to drink spectacular coffee everyday.
It's the urge to dance at dodgy bars to kitschy 80's music.
It's the slow building giggle to belly-aching laughter at a ridiculous newsclip turned dance anthem.
It's the music that sparks emotion with each note.
It's the passion to take a chance on something new and find yourself in a place you never expected.
It's knowing the people that have the power to change lives, even if it's just mine.
Oh the fire! To quote a dear friend (Nate Maingard), "I'm grateful for your company in the fire." It's good to be here.
Here is the collection of recent flames that have spurned this post
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
