Smack bang in the middle of the “strip” on Bree Street, Langebaan, you’ll find the humble local, GB Coffee Cafe.
Surrounded by kite surf shops, shell shops, vibrant clothing shops, and of course, the local biltong shop, GB Coffee Cafe is often full of holiday makers, locals and kite surfers, as they breeze past on their way to the main beach.
As I order my usual Cortado, Justin explains with great detail and stoke, how he’s recently “dialled in” one of his grinders, to get the perfect ratio for his current batch of artisanal, Bokbal beans. And he’s obviously got it spot on, as I notice the smooth texture on my first sip, and that elusive natural nutty flavour coming through. It hits the spot!
Justin is doing an amazing job here - his team is awesome, the place has a great vibe, and his coffee is phenomenal.
