I had this reoccurring thought during my Yield Coffee Bar visit; this cafe felt like an indie novel cafe brought to life. you know the one - a picture-perfect romanticised idea of a coffee shop. Yield Coffee Bar has managed to balance reality and romanticism, creating an atmosphere that is as inviting as it is inspiring.
Yield ticks all the coffee shop boxes: Cozy corners, good food, good coffee and the ability to allow you to romanise your life a little.
I found the word “yield” so appropriate for this coffee shop. It’s a place where the concept of yield is brought to life. It yields good coffee, nourishing food, beautiful greenery and a welcoming spirit.
The design of Yield Coffee Bar effortlessly combines sophistication and comfort. The wine shelves organised beautifully on wooden shelves, the green and yellow sofa, in the cozy corner I gravitated towards, the subtle orange lighting and ample natural light from its windows, every little detail tied in so well together, giving the place so much character.
“The Linden” is the name of the blend that was in the hopper, an ode to the neighbourhood. This blend is made up of Guatemala, Rwanda Karaba and Ethiopia. I ordered a Black Americano, and freshly made peanutbutter date balls, to go. I can’t recommend this enough, date balls and coffee are an incredible combination. This blend was so easy to drink and so delicious, the bright and fruity flavours were perfectly balanced. I left Yield Coffee Bar so satiated.
In essence, Yield Coffee Bar is a source of positivity, a true supplier of delightful experiences. It’s a place that understands the true value of what it means to yield something meaningful—whether it’s a perfect cup of coffee, a delicious meal, or a sense of belonging.
