SA First: A fully South African Grown Coffee Blend at Vida e Caffe

The hot topic around coffee growing recently has been how we need to actively look beyond the traditional to sustain the ever growing demand for and the ever threatening climate changes against coffee. We spoke about this a lot at Creative Coffee Week this year. And we are so thrilled to see the giant step being taken by brand Vida e Caffè in supporting local farmers, pretty cool!

From the 8th November 2023, y ou can now go taste coffee grown in South Africa, a blend of cherries from both KZN and Mpumalanga. There will be very limited stocks as the yields are still quite low, but with investments like this from big business, it is sure to be wmore widely avai;able in the coming years!

Dylan Cumming of the RedBerry Coffee Collective has been heavily invested in championing coffee production here in South Africa for many years and we are so proud of the local humans that have collaboratively got this project up and running, we'll be supporting it every step of the way!
