Ain't that the truth!
This morning I had one awful coffee and one much better one and both made me smile. A barista in training made a coffee that was bitter and burnt my tongue, but he tried again, and I ended up with a delicious cortado to begin the morning. You should have seen the smile on his face when he knew he'd gotten it right. It was a beautiful moment.
Coffee makes a great journey to get our cups and to see new people begin to explore its wonder, is truly one of the best parts of my job.
We are just taking one small moment today to be grateful that goats discovered this most wonderful all those years ago and a couple more moments to thank each of the people that helped tend, pick, wash, process, ship, roast, grind and brew the sensational beverage that is coffee.
