Everything about a café is carefully put together. With so many new spots opening up, the people who run these places of culture and coffee need to differentiate themselves, keep it fresh while still sticking to their style. Every detail counts.
We had a meeting with Megan Pilditch, who is doing some freelance work for us (
check out her last interview here). We asked her to take us somewhere she loves. Her choice was Corner Cafe. It was a good choice.
No matter how many times you go there, there is always something new on the go, whether it be the succulents growing on the roof or the new menu which caught my eye. Have you seen the new 'infographic' style menu?
It is beautiful and provides a lot of helpful information, mostly Judd Campbell says, to save him explaining what an El Padre is, a drink named after the man who loves them, Pastor Ant.
This is what an El Padre looks like. What does it taste like? Go get one and find out!
Have you seen any interesting design elements at your local cafe? Tell us about it!
