Good Riddance Coffee Shop in Kommetjie is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you know that it’s a local hub of coffee and community! Locals all greeting each other, baristas clearly knowing people’s favourite daily orders, children, dogs and friends all welcomed by a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that perfectly matches the laid-back coastal vibe of the area.
The coffee is consistently excellent—roasted by Rooikat Roastery and clearly made by people who care about quality, flavour, and craft. There are two hoppers on bar - The Bokmakierie blend and the Baboon blend - another signifier that local is lekker!

The inside of the shop is small but there are cosy nooks with a good bookshelf filled with everything from crime novels to surf mags and cookbooks and a nice selection of board games, like checkers and backgammon. Outside, if it’s a sunny day, there’s plenty of seating in the shade and even a few secluded spots around the side of the building. A true Kommetjie favourite, Good Riddance is a community gem and and well worth a visit.
Good Riddance also have The Padel Shack at Imhoff Farm, that has a few local shops and some sports amenities like padel, putt-putt, pickleball and 5 aside soccer.

Barista Leo will serve you a beautifully made coffee or hot chocolate for the kids and keeps everyone happy with his contagious smile and brilliant service.
