When did your roastery start? And, as the owner, why a coffee roastery?
Brewing Gadgets is not a coffee Roastery, we are specialized in selling of coffee specialty brewing gadgets, tools, accessories, various type of coffee equipment’s and official distributors of Roest coffee roaster in the region, so we instruct others how to roast.
Question for roaster: How did you learn to roast coffee?
Started my career in coffee as assistant for coffee roast master in 2010 and learned more about roasting through experiments, educational courses and personal research.
And what drew you to roasting as a profession?
Coffee roasting is science and art, which has many faces and variables which makes it very interesting to learn and I love science and complexity of it.
What do you love most about the coffee roasting industry?
It’s like the IT industry which is keep evolving in terms knowledge and research. I am enjoying learning every day and updating my self-day by day and learning is never end in Coffee Industry too..
In your opinion, is roasting more science or more art?
It’s an art. And art is controlled by science as for every action there is a reaction.
Was there a particular cup of coffee that changed the way you think about coffee?
There are so many however, one of them is this Rwanda, this competition coffee, I have never in my life seen the quality of sweetness and mouthfeel especially the fat /oil content which leads to rich caramel.
What is your focus as a roastery? Wholesale to cafes? Do you roast just for your own cafe? Sell online?
My Focus more about science and learning about roasting skills which help for training others about roasting. We are into roasting machine distributors/selling with Training Support to teach basics of roasting...

Brewing Gadgets is well known company In UAE & India, Operations managed by Mr.Franklin Carvalho & Mr. Raju Singh For Respective Markets
With all the different processing methods now available to roasters, is there a processing method that you enjoy working with? And why?
I always prefer washed and natural processing.
How have you seen coffee culture in your region grow over the last few years?
In this region the coffee culture is like coffee fantasy world and I have seen incredible changes or I would say it’s a revolution over the decade and its my pleasure to be here in such a super sophisticated Specialty Coffee Market!
Where are you located and can people come visit you?
We are located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, LIU B3 warehouse and recently we moved there. And we have an amazing experience center and training academy. We are welcoming coffee people and excited to see you all there.
What makes your roastery stand out in a booming industry?
Since We are Equipment Suppliers and Support company for Specialty coffee industry…. We do hand holding for New Roasteries and Guide them for right product and right investment with right services makes us unique and standout...
