Well this is something new. The electric car may seem like a thing of the future still, but in fact there exists in our world an electric racing circuit (like Scalectrix! Remember that as a child!). The Formula E racing Championship aims to uplift the profile of the electric vehicle, encouraging them to become a normal part of our existence. We like that idea very much and apparently so do La Marzocco, stepping up to sponsor this initiative.
The numbers in the little video are pretty scary and encourage us to stop and think about the mode of transport we choose to use everyday. In SA the reality of the electric car seems a little further away, but we've got to have something to work towards and pioneering ideas like this help to lead the way!
